Fed: Wallabies star faces burglary charge
The Australian Rugby Union says it'll make a decision on the future of Wallabies star
QUADE COOPER before he's due to return to training with Queensland next month.
The 21-year-old Test and Queensland centre briefly appeared in Southport Magistrates
Court today charged with one count of burglary in Surfers Paradise on December 6.
The case was adjourned for a committal hearing in July next year.
COOPER told reporters outside court he hoped the proceedings wouldn't exclude him from
his playing duties.
The ARU and Queensland Rugby Union are waiting to receive more information about the
night of the alleged burglary and they'll make a decision by mid-January.
