Today's ideal home computer is far more versatile than machines that were popular even a year or two ago.

Tandy's new Sensation! is a state-of-the-art home computer. This IBM-compatible machine is built around a "486SX" computer chip for quicker on-screen operations than its predecessors, the "286" and "386" (these numbers abbreviate longer names of chips - "486" is short for Intel's 80486SX, a term you may see in product literature). One 3 1/2-inch disk drive is included here, as it is on most computers, and there's a 107 megabyte hard drive, but the addition of a CD-ROM drive makes this machine unique.
